TEASER
INT. Manor - Main Hall - Night (Saturday)
It's pouring rain outside, the house is empty…until the sisters' frantically orb in with Piper holding Wyatt. Paige: "We don't have much time, they'll follow us." Phoebe jumps in, "Then how are we going to stop them?" Piper, holding Wyatt close, "We can't just let them take Wyatt - we have to think of something." Before they can think of anything else, Paige sees familiar sparkling lights beginning to form, "Uh, guys? Incoming!" Out of the lights we see them materialize. Two bald men dressed starkly in all white suits. These are The Cleaners. Cleaner 1 tells them it's pointless to run. Piper: "You can't have him!" She gestures to blow him up but he holds out his hand and catches a mini-explosion. Cleaner 1 speaks again, "You're only delaying the inevitable, I'm afraid. Now, if you don't mind, we have a lot of cleaning to do." He gestures as Cleaner Two simultaneously holds out his hands and Wyatt dematerializes out of Piper's arms and into his. Piper, "NO!" They all start to charge, but Cleaner 1 easily waves his hand - sending the girls sprawling backwards onto the floor. Not waiting, Piper cries out, "LEO! HELP!" Leo orbs in, sees Piper and Piper yells for Wyatt. Cleaner 1: "An Elder. Good, perhaps you can explain it to her." Phoebe: "Explain? Explain what?" Piper tells Leo not to just stand there, to do something. Leo, knowing, "I…can't. Nobody can…" Paige, "What the hell's that supposed to mean?" Piper turns to the Cleaners, crying, begging, "Please, he's just a baby, it won't happen again, I swear - I won't let it happen again!" Cleaner 2: "Sorry, we can't take that risk." Cleaner 1: "Don't worry, you won't remember any of this anyway." He waves his hand and the room is suddenly filled with sparkling light and we cut to:
INT. Manor - Piper's Bedroom/Nursery - Night (Tuesday)
We see the nursery as it morphs back into a closet. As it does, the camera finds a picture on the wall. The girls with Wyatt in a stroller, only Wyatt and the stroller vanish from the picture before our eyes. Then, we return to:
INT. Manor - Sitting Room - Night (Tuesday)
The sparkling light dissipates and the Cleaners, still holding Wyatt, vanish. The girls and Leo are left behind in anguish, then everyone calms. They're all disoriented. Piper and Leo are surprised to find themselves next to each other. "What are you doing here?" Leo: "I don't know…I…better go…" With that, he orbs out but Piper appears unconcerned. She shakes her head like she's trying to wake up as the sisters look at each other, confused. Paige asks what they were talking about. Piper says she doesn't know. Phoebe, "Well, I don't know about you guys, but I'm beat. I'm going to bed." Paige agrees she's tired, to and heads for the stairs, but turns back to see Piper. "You okay?" Piper: "Yeah, I just feel like I'm forgetting something." Phoebe: "Like what?" Piper: "I don't know…how important could it be, right?" As Paige and Phoebe leave, she pauses to look around…did she forget something? After a beat - nah. She turns off the light and head upstairs with her sisters.

ACT I
INT. Manor - Kitchen - Day (Wednesday Morning)
It's a sunny day and the birds are chirping. The TV is on in the background as a local weatherman gives the morning forecast. Piper is preparing a breakfast tray as Paige enters, a bit miffed, holding a blouse, "Any infomercials for stain removers on there?" Piper turns off the TV, "You have a stain that needs removal?" Paige, showing her the blouse, "I must have spilled coffee on my blouse yesterday without realizing it. So, that clueless girl walking around the office with the stain on her blouse? That'd be me." Piper as if she's tried baking soda. Paige tells her it's dry clean only and the bill's going to eat up half a day's pay. Piper: "The pay's lousy, your boss is a sexist pig - the job sucks, Paige. Why don't you quit? It's just a temp. job anyway." Paige: "I know, but if I really want my own life, away from magic, I can't just bail when things start to suck. Look at my dog-walking job. I stuck around there and I ended up helping someone." Piper tells her that was once and asks what the odds are of it happening again. Paige says she doesn't know, "But if it doesn't work out here, hey - 'sometimes you gotta ride a lot of horses on the merry-go-round before you find what you're looking for'." Piper, almost unconsciously, "Carousel." Paige, "Sorry?" Piper explains, "A merry-go-round has lots of animals. Carousels only have horses." She sees Paige staring at her, "What?" Paige asks her how she knows. Piper's curious herself, "I have no idea…wait, do you hear that?" Paige, "Head what? A carousel?" Piper strains to listen again and hears nothing, "Now it's gone." Paige asks her what's gone. Piper: "Okay, I know this is going to sound crazy…" Paige: "Because your whole 'carousel' thing was so normal?" Piper: "I thought I head a baby…" Paige: "A baby around here? You ARE crazy." Then, from the basement, we hear, "Piper?", as Phoebe calls up. Paige, "Okay, wait - now I think I heard something that time…" Piper: "Oh, be quiet." Then she calls to Phoebe that she's on her way. She puts the finishing touches on the food she's preparing as Paige gives her a look, "How long is she going to stay down there, anyway?" Piper: "Long enough to be sure she doesn't shove her tongue down the throat of another delivery guy." Phoebe, calling again, "I heard that!!" Piper, carrying the tray of food, and Paige head down the steps.
INT. Manor - Basement - Day (Wednesday Morning)
Phoebe has a desk set up down there, with a noticeable Band-Aid on her forehead, "And for your information, we're very lucky he didn't sue me fore sexual harassment." Paige asks why he'd sue since Phoebe was channeling HIS emotions. Phoebe tells her that's not the point, the point is that she has to figure out how her new power works or resign herself to living the life of a shut in. Piper and Paige are coming closer and Phoebe notices, "Stop right there, behind that yellow line!" They look down, sure enough, there's a yellow line at the base of the stairs and they stop behind it. Phoebe: "Any closer and I might channel what you're feeling." Piper: "So, what, you want me to toss you your breakfast?" Paige, "Hey, what happened to your head?" Phoebe touches her forehead, "This? I don't know, I'm so scattered, I must have bumped it or something." Then she asks if either of them are feeling any strong emotions and once she's pretty sure they're not, she tells them they may approach. Paige, "Gee, thanks…" As they get closer, Phoebe picks up on, "Woah, wait a minute, someone's feeling insecure." She zeros in on Piper, "What? I just feel a little off this morning, that's all. Stop giving me that look." She puts the tray down. Phoebe: "Ooh, you cut the crusts off the toast, too." Then she studies the tray…."And cut up the eggs into tiny little pieces…and what's this, apple sauce…and a glass of milk? Piper, I'm not in second grade." Piper, "Well, I don't know - I just thought you'd want milk for strong bones…" Paige, "What's up with you, lady? First you're all about carousels, then you're hearing babies, now 'milk for strong bones'?" Phoebe, "You were hearing babies?" Piper tells her she's not sure what's going on and before they can discuss things any further, Phoebe's cell rings. We hear only snippets of the conversation on Phoebe's end, "Hello Elise! How'd you like the…What? What do you mean? But, I can't come in I'm sick…Yesterday? I didn't come in yesterday…I did?…Okay…I'll be right there." Paige asks what the call was about. Phoebe says she has no idea and that Elise told her to get in there ASAP or she's out of a job. Piper, "You job? Did she say why??" Phoebe says she only said something about yesterday. Paige tells her she's going to have to brave the big, bad world, then asks if she wants a ride. Phoebe says she'll drive so she can get in and out of there fast. As her and Paige head up the stairs, Piper calls to them, "Hey, don't forget your jackets, it might rain…" Phoebe, "Will you stop mothering us, already?" They leave with Piper wondering what is going on with herself.
INT. Brokerage - Reception Area - Day (Wednesday)
First, all we see is a phone, lights blinking, then we see Paige at a desk, headset on, juggling calls and trying to make the best of things. She's constantly putting people on hold until she spots a woman carrying a box rushing by her. She's been crying and Paige recognizes her. Covering the microphone, "Flo! What happened?" The woman turns and tells Paige she just got fired. Paige, "What?" then she turns to the phones, "Call back later!", and hangs up. Flo starts to exit and Paige jumps up to go after her, getting caught by the headset. She struggles to get free and rips the phone out of the jack, and catches up to Flo. "Hey, tell me what happened to you. Maybe I can help." Flo: "You ought to know." Paige: "Flo, look, I know you're angry and I want to help, believe me. But I can't unless you tell me how you got fired." Flo relents, telling her "Mr. Stewick gets me in his office and says either I go out with him again, or he'll fire me. I didn't take his offer, so he told me to pack up. My word against his…" Paige: "Why didn't you ask someone to go in there with you?" Flo: "I did. I asked YOU - yesterday. But I obviously don't rank high enough in importance for you to remember." She starts out again, but Paige grabs her, confused, "Wait, Flo - seriously, I would remember promising that…" Mr. Stewick approaches, "Excuse me, do you mind? Back to the phone, Francine." "My name's Paige!" Mr. Stewick: "Whatever. You're a temp. You want to help people? Sit your pretty ass back down and answer the damn phones." Before she can respond, he's gone as quickly as he came.
INT. Bay Mirror - Bullpen - Day (Wednesday)
Phoebe enters, keeping her distance from others as she goes, but she's getting a lot of angry stares. More than that, she's noticing that a lot of her co-workers are sporting similar bandages, others seem less injured with some minor cuts and bruises. As she passes one guy in particular, Frank…with visible cuts and bruises on his cheek…he pulls her aside. "I don't care what she says to you Phoebe - I've always wanted to do what you did. And man it was worth it to see you do it!" Phoebe, "Right, yeah, um, thanks for your support there, Frank…" She continues to the entrance to Elise's office just as Elise appears at the door, looking more stern than usual. To top things off, she's got a very prominent black eye. She beckons Phoebe in wordlessly. Phoebe asks what's going on and Elise cuts her off with "Sit." Phoebe drops into a chair as Elise continues, "I wanted to talk to you alone before I involved my lawyers…" Phoebe: "What do you mean, lawyers?" Elise tells her to let her finish, "Now, I'm not going to pretend that the only reason you're still working here is that you're an asset to the paper. But what the hell came over you yesterday?" Phoebe, "Yesterday?" Elise informs her that there are actually a few more workers at home because of their injuries, "Jackie's got a broken nose, not to mention…" she points to her eye, Phoebe: "Ow, that must have hurt." Elise: "It's all I can do to keep lawsuits from pouring in. If there were perhaps a reasonable explanation for your behavior yesterday…" Phoebe: "Elise, I seriously have no idea what you're talking about!" Elise, "Phoebe…" She puts her hand on Phoebe's and Phoebe reacts, having a vision….
Phoebe's Vision: INT. Bay Mirror - Bullpen - Day (Tuesday)
The entire place has erupted into an enormous free-for-all brawl. Phoebe's right in the middle of it, punching and kicking anyone who comes near her. Then, as abruptly as it started, the vision ends and Phoebe comes out of it with a start. Elise quickly steps back, nervous. But Phoebe speaks, almost to herself, "Oh no…Uh, I…I gotta go." She fakes a cough. "Feeling a lot worse all of a sudden." She quickly exits.
EXT. Corner Market - Day (Wednesday)
Piper's carrying a bag of groceries to the back of her Jeep. She opens it and puts the bags inside and pauses…wondering yet again if she's forgotten something. She checks her list, looking into the bag…stopping as she hears the sound of a baby crying. She looks back towards the store and sees a single dad, holding a squirming infant in one arm and a bag of groceries in the other. The Dad: "Sweetheart, please, don't cry - what's the matter? Are you hungry? Do you need a bottle?" In trying to calm the baby, he drops a pack of diapers and Piper moves towards him, almost instinctively…"Here, hold her at an angle, and make a shushing noise, like this…" She adjusts his hold on his baby and makes a shushing sound. The Dad is only too grateful to have the help of someone who seems to know what they're doing as the baby stops fussing and seems to smile. Dad: "Wow - that's amazing. How'd you get her to calm down so fast?" Piper: "Shushing is supposed to remind them of the womb." She picks up the diapers. Dad: "Amazing. You must be a terrific mom to know all this stuff." Piper: "Actually, I don't have kids." Dad: "Really? I guess I just assumed…" Piper: "I mean, I always wanted them - I baby-sat a lot, but…" There's an awkward pause as Piper looks away, embarrassed, "I better go." She starts off, but the Dad stops her, "Uh…my diapers?" Piper is surprised to find that, indeed, she still has them. "Oh, sorry…" she hands them back to the man and watches him play with his baby as she walks back to her Jeep.
INT. Manor - Piper's Bedroom - Day (Wednesday)
Leo, his face similarly confused, as he stares into the closet, trying to figure out what drew him there. Just then, Piper appears in the doorway, surprised, "Leo?" Leo snaps out of his trance, "Piper, what are you doing here?" Piper: "What am I doing here?!" Leo: "No, I mean, that's not what I meant…Look, I know I shouldn't be here…" Piper: "No, you shouldn't. I asked you to stay away for a good reason, Leo, so I could learn to live without you…" Leo: "I know…" Piper: "And orbing in here whenever you want doesn't make it any easier on me. You can't just do that, not anymore." Leo: "You're right, I'm sorry, it's just that…" He turns back to the closet as if haunted by something. Piper, haunted herself, finds it more than a little curious he's looking at the closet. Then, he dismisses it, "Nevermind, I should go…" Piper, recognizing the confusion on his face, "What were you going to say?" Leo: "It's nothing…" Piper, "Wait…Just out of curiosity, you're not…hearing things by any chance, are you?" Leo turns back to her, surprised, intrigued, "Hearing things?" Piper, "Yeah, you know, like…this'll sound silly, but a couple of times today, I swear I heard…" Leo, "A baby…?" Piper: "You, too?" Leo: "Pretty strange, huh? Think it means anything?" Piper admits she doesn't know, "Maybe just that we both regret not having children." Piper looks at him, they share a moment, then…honestly wondering…"Why didn't we?" Leo: "I don't know, we wanted to…I guess it just wasn't meant to be." Piper looks back at the closet as if imagining another destiny for them. Then, their moment is interrupted by, Phoebe, in the attic, "Piper? We need you upstairs!" Piper calls up to let her know she'll be there in a minute then turns to Leo, telling him he better go. Leo: "But what if you need help? What if there's a demon?" Piper: "You're not our Whitelighter anymore, Leo. Chris is. That's his job." Leo: Except, he's busy. I've got him looking around for whoever banished me to Valhalla." Piper tells him that they'll just have to handle it alone, then. She holds his look for a beat, then exits leaving him feeling like he doesn't belong.
INT. Manor - Attic - Day (Wednesday)
Paige and Phoebe are in the middle of a heated discussion as Piper enters. Paige: "So, you're saying that you started a riot at work, only you don't remember?" Phoebe: "That's exactly what I'm saying." She points to the Band-Aid, "That's how I must have gotten this. And that's why Elise was so mad at me." Paige: "I thought she was just like that." Phoebe "Well, she is, kinda." She turns to Piper, "Hey, you okay? I'm getting this really emotional vibe from you." Piper steps away from Phoebe, not wanting to explain. "I'm fine…what I don't understand is: if you don't remember the riot, how do you know you're the one who started it?" Phoebe tells her of the vision and the fact she can usually tell when they're in the past and she knows that her vision happened the day before. Paige asks what she thinks happened and Phoebe admit she has no idea, "You know how cautious I've been after what happened with the delivery guy. So how the hell did I turn the Bay Mirror into the Jerry Springer show?" Paige: "Add that to the pile of missing memories." Piper: "Wait, both of you have moments you can't remember from yesterday?" Phoebe: "Yeah, and I might've thought that forgetting the riot was just my new powers acting up, if not for Paige's blouse." Paige, "Or this whole thing with Flo, this girl at work." She eyes Piper, "What did you forget?" Piper; "Nothing specific, I mean, I remember getting up, going downstairs…but the rest is kind of a blur." Paige: "Well, that settles it." Piper: "Settles what?" Phoebe: "If five years of fighting demons have taught us anything, it's pay attention when we're all feeling the same weird feelings." Paige: "Someone's been messing with us. Making us forget." Piper: "But these all seem like such random moments to forget. What's the connection?" Paige tells her there's only one way to find out and that she's already written a spell, "To Fill in the Blanks". Phoebe: "I know you might be reluctant after what happened last time we cast a spell on your memory…" Piper tells her she's right, they need to do this spell, "I feel totally off, and I know that's not normal. Something's going on. The only thing we don't know is what." Paige pulls out the spell and reads…."Moments lost make witches wonder, Warlock's plot of demon's plunder? If this is not a prank, help us to fill in the blanks." The girls stay still as the room begins to swirl for a while. We see the day rewinding outside then back into the manor, the spinning finally stops. They're wearing the same clothes as in the teaser, but Paige is missing the coffee stain and Phoebe doesn't have her bandage on. They look out, it's raining, then they turn to each other, confused and disoriented. Piper, stating the obvious, "It's raining." Paige: "Phoebe, your Band-Aid's gone." She feels her forehead, "And you're wearing that same blouse…" Paige looks down, "Except, where's the coffee stain?" Just then, they hear a baby crying. Piper's face shows it all flooding back at once, "Oh my god!!!" She can't run out fast enough. Phoebe and Paige share a look and quickly follow her.
INT. Manor - Conservatory - Day (Tuesday Morning)
Where Phoebe and Paige come downstairs to find Piper picking up Wyatt - her eyes teary. The playpen has returned, as has everything else. Piper turns to her sisters, voice full of emotion, "I remember now…I'm a mom!"

ACT II
INT. Manor - Conservatory - Day (Tuesday Morning)
It's still raining, Paige is seated, and Piper's trying to comfort a squirming Wyatt. Phoebe slams a newspaper down on the table, "It's yesterday." Paige: "The spell didn't return our memories, it just rewound the day." Phoebe asks why. Paige tells her to help remember what "somebody obviously wants us to forget." Piper: "But how could I have possibly forgotten about Wyatt? What could have happened to cause something like that?" Phoebe: "It wasn't just you, Piper, we were all made to forget about him" Paige: "Not to mention a whole bunch of other things." Piper: "But I'm his mother! It's my job to protect him - and I failed!" Paige tells her that's ridiculous and she didn't fail. Wyatt starts crying and Piper tries to calm him down but he won't settle. Phoebe: "You're just feeling a little insecure for some reason…" Suddenly, Phoebe starts crying just like Wyatt, "And Wyatt's feeling really, really sad. Poor little guy." Her sisters are staring at her, "No you know why I hole myself up in the basement all the time. I'm a wreck!" Paige tells them they're against the clock and they need to talk. Phoebe agrees as Piper puts Wyatt down in his play pen, but it only upsets him more. She grabs a stuffed animal and waves it at him, but he (and Phoebe) keep crying. Piper asks Pheebs for a little help, "We - I mean, he, hates that toy. It's all worn out and smelly and yucky…" Piper: "Okay, so what does he want?" Sniffling, she points, "That." All eyes turn to the TV, "Oh great, I am a failure." Paige; "Piper, please - we've got worse problems right now than media influence." Piper turns the TV on and switches the channel to a kiddie program. Wyatt suddenly goes quiet and Phoebe stops bawling as well. Piper tells him that she's just going to be in the other room and we see them head off as we're still seeing Wyatt. He blinks and - click! - the TV changes channels. He smiles, blinks again, and it's a different channel. He finally stops on a show featuring a pair of dragons and Wyatt giggles.
INT. Manor - Living Room - Day (Tuesday Morning)
Piper enters, catching up, in time to hear Paige, "We remember everything that happened before today, don't we?" Phoebe confirms they do. Paige: "And we know we're not going to remember everything unless we do something about it, right?" Phoebe: "Don't be impatient with me, Paige, I'm dealing with enough feelings as it is at the moment." Paige: "All I'm saying is that the missing link - whatever cause us to forget - must be what happens next. Which means we have to re-live the day, see where it leads." Piper tells them if they're not careful, it could lea them right back to where they started, without Wyatt. Paige tells her that this time, they'll know something's going to happen to him, so all they have to do is open their eyes, look for clues, and stop it. Phoebe tells her it's easier said than done, since so many strange things happened, "how will we know what's important and what's not?" Paige tells her it's all important because it's all somehow connected to Wyatt, they just have to figure out what the connection is. Piper steps in, "So, what, you've gotta go to your temp job? Wait to get a coffee stain?" Paige: "Yeah, exactly. So much for my life outside of magic. Now, Phoebe's gotta go to her work and…" Phoebe: "Start a riot? Cut my forehead? Risk my career? I don't think so." Paige tells her she has to, it's the only way to save Wyatt.
INT. Manor - Conservatory - Day (Tuesday Morning)
Wyatt's still watching the two dragons flying around on the television. One breathes fire and he giggles at the again. He blinks one more time…and this time, magic orbs form around the TV and one of the dragons vanishes. Orbs shoot out of the TV, through the conservatory window, and we see the dragon take form outside. Wyatt giggles with delight as the dragon appraises him, nudging the conservatory doors open with its snout. One of the doors bumps the side table and the dragon takes off into the rain as a vase on the table crashes to the floor. Piper stops in mid-sentence, hearing the crash and Wyatt giggling. She exists the living room, followed closely by her sisters. They find Wyatt still safely in his play pen, still laughing at the open doors, one of which bangs against the table again, pushed by the wind and rain. Piper: "How'd those open?" Phoebe tells her it must have been the wind and Piper tells her they were locked. Paige, picking up a fragment from the broken vase, tells them that it could be a clue and to remember it. Paige closes the doors and asks Piper if she's going to be okay by herself. Piper asks if she has a choice. Phoebe: "Wanna switch with me?" Paige playfully smacks Phoebe then tells them they have to go, calling back to Piper to call them the minute anything weird happens. They exit as Wyatt's still giggling at the remaining dragon on TV. Piper finally notices…wondering what Wyatt's watching.
INT. Bay Mirror - Bullpen - Day (Tuesday)
Phoebe enters, in her raincoat, nervously looking around, unsure which direction the riot's going to come from when her assistant runs up to her, "Phoebe, thank God you came in - the server crashed and we lost your column. Do you have a hard copy?" Phoebe tells her she'll check her office. As she starts back, Elise and Frank burst out from a door across the room, furious and shouting. "It's not WHAT you did, Elise, it's HOW you did it!" Elise: "Well, lucky I'm the editor, so I don't have to care what you think." Frank turns around and bumps into Phoebe. Elise calls after him, "Don't think we're done here, mister!" Feeling the brunt of Frank's emotions, Phoebe balls her hand into a fist and decks Elise, who staggers backwards, crashing into a mailman. Phoebe, shaking herself out of it, doesn't know what to say. Frank, meanwhile, is laughing. Loving the fact that Phoebe had the guts to punch Elise. Unfortunately, the mailman thinks Frank is laughing at him. "Think that's funny, huh?" With that, the mailman hauls off and punches Frank and the riot begins. Phoebe's yelling at everyone, telling them to stop, trying in vain to halt what's happening before it gets worse. Two reporters slam into Phoebe, knocking her into a wall where she smacks her head. Checking it with her fingers, seeing the blood…"Ouch".
INT. Brokerage - Reception Area - Day (Tuesday)
Paige, on her break, stands off to the side with Flo. She's telling her to stay calm and trying to get to the truth of the matter. Flo says it's her fault, "I shouldn't have done it in the first place…" Paige: "Done what?" Flo: "Oh, Mr., Stewick's been asking me out since I got here…" Paige, remembering, "So, you went out on a date with him…" Flo: "If you could call it a date. He tried to grab my ass, I threw a drink in his face. I've avoided him ever since." Paige asks what happened next, Flo tells her that he wants to meet her in the morning and she's worried about losing her job. Then, it comes, "Maybe, you could come with me?" Paige: "Absolutely…" Then wonders why she'd forget that promise out loud. Flo, hearing it, "Forget what?" Before Paige can respond, there's a noise from outside. Behind Paige, Wyatt's dragon suddenly flies by the window, startling a co-worker who's sipping coffee. He throws his mug as Paige turns around…splash down! Hot coffee all over the front of her blouse. Paige: "Oww!!"…then, it hits her…"Coffee!" She doesn't even pause to be mad as she turns to the co-worker who's thinking she's mad at him…"I'm sorry - just, something…weird flew by the window…" Paige: "Something - what kind of something? Spit it out!" The co-worker, not wanting to admit it, "Well, to be honest with you, it looked a little like…a dragon." Paige looks out, seeing nothing at first, then an explosion in the distance, "This is not good." She hurries off past Flo.
INT. Manor - Conservatory - Day (Tuesday)
Piper's flipping through the Book while Wyatt tries to get her attention. She's ignoring him and he starts to cry. Piper rushes over to him, feeling desperate, "Wyatt, please - Mommy's got to study to make sure nothing happens to you…" She holds up the stuffed animal before remembering, "Oh, right, you hate this…" then, to herself, "Did I forget how to be a Mommy, too?" She picks him up, making the shushing sounds again and rocks him back and forth. Suddenly, orbs form around them, "Wyatt - wait, what are you going?" She's cut off as they orb out.
INT. Bay Mirror - Outer Corridor - Day (Tuesday)
Paige hurries down the hall, then pushes through the swinging door to reveal the mayhem, "Oh my God…" A reporter gets tossed through a partition window, shattering it as Paige spots Phoebe…cut on her forehead…as she's grabbing a lamp, getting ready to strike the reporter. Paige: "Phoebe, don't!" Phoebe strikes him anyway, knocking him to the ground as Paige pulls her away, "Phoebe, what are you doing? Snap out of it!" Phoebe reacts, coming out of it, "Oh, no, did I do all this?" Paige: "Nevermind, we gotta get out of here. I think I've figured out what we're supposed to remember." Phoebe tells her she might be happier forgetting. Paige, no other way than to say it, "There's a dragon loose in the city, Phoebe!" Before Phoebe can react, Frank…overhearing…pauses in mid-battle long enough to react, "Did you say 'dragon'…?" Phoebe turns to him just as a copy editor slugs him in the jaw, knocking him out of frame. Paige grabs Phoebe and tells her they have to go.
EXT. Tunnel - Day (Tuesday)
Piper stands at the mouth of a long tunnel, "Okay, sweetie, you're making Mommy very nervous - what are we doing here? What is it?" Wyatt just coos as Piper's cell rings. She checks the caller ID and answers it. "What's up?" She laughs…"Where am I? Standing outside of the Presidio tunnel, right where your nephew just orbed me…" Paige and Phoebe orb in right next to her. Paige: "He did what??" Piper, looking around, "Are you out of your mind? Aren't you worried about exposure?" Paige says she is, and that's why they called. Piper: "What do you mean? What're you talking about?" Phoebe: "I think she's talking about THAT!" We hear an explosion and they turn to see down the tunnel. Wyatt's dragon comes roaring through the fire of an exploded car. It breathes fire on another car as it passes, causing that one to explode, too, then it flies out of the tunnel and strafes the ducking sisters with fire before streaking up into the sky and out of view. The girls are stunned, looking at a giggling Wyatt.
END OF ACT II
ACT III
INT. Manor - Conservatory - Day (Tuesday Afternoon)
We see a TV news report, on tape, Kinesha Robinson delivers the news from outside the entrance to the tunnel, which is not a crime scene. In the background, we see the smoke and commotion. Someone shuts off the TV and we see Paige, "Well, as far as clues go, I'd say that's a pretty huge one, wouldn't you?" Piper and Phoebe are watching her, concerned, as Piper finishes applying the Band-Aid to Phoebe's forehead….the same type and position as it was in the teaser. Phoebe, wincing, "Owww" Piper: "Sorry." Phoebe: "It's not my pain I'm feeling, it's yours." Piper, backing off, "Oh, yeah? Then you should be feeling a little irritated right now, too." Phoebe: "Piper, this isn't your fault, why are you blaming yourself?" Piper: "Okay, number one? I haven't actually verbalized guilt yet, so if you don't mind, in the future, let me FEEL before you ANALYZE." Phoebe: "Right…" Piper continues, "And, number two, this is SO my fault because I'm the one who plopped Wyatt down in front of the electronic babysitter in the first place." Phoebe, looking at Paige, "Do you know what she's rambling about?" Paige: "Not a clue." Piper: "You want clues, try this one on for size: Wyatt was watching a TV show about, wait for it, dragons, when you left earlier." Phoebe: "No he wasn't, he was watching a kid's show." Piper: "Well, apparently, he magically changed the channel. Of course, that was before he magically orbed me to the tunnel to find his new friend." Phoebe: "He did all that??" Paige: "Wait, are you saying you think Wyatt actually…conjured a dragon?" Piper, convinced, "Yep, pulled it right out of the old TV." Phoebe: "You must be so proud!" Piper: "Phoebe…IRRITATED!" Phoebe: "Right, sorry." Paige: "Boy, if that's true, that little guy of yours has got some pretty serious powers already." Piper: "Yeah, the kind that unleashes monsters on unsuspecting cities! What's nest, Godzilla? Being a single mom's tough enough, how am I supposed to handle this, too?" Paige, realizing, "At least now we know what happened to our memories - everything connected to the dragon, no matter how remote, obviously got erased. The riot, the coffee stain…" Piper asks, "The question is, by whom?" Phoebe: "Come on, guys - so Wyatt made a little magical mess, big deal. We've dealt with worse, we should be able to find a way to fix this." We hear a voice off screen, "Maybe we can help." They turn to the direction of the sitting room and see them, The Cleaners.
INT. Manor - Sitting Room/Main Hall - Day (Tuesday Afternoon)
The slowly enter to find the Cleaners standing by the main hall. Phoebe asks who they are. Cleaner 1 tells them. Paige: "The Cleaners?" They explain again what they do. Piper, realizing, "You're the ones who are going to take Wyatt." Cleaner 1: "Well, we won't have to, if you can eliminate the exposure risk." Piper: "Exposure? You're here to take away my son, you son of a b****…" She gestures to blow him up, but again, just like before, he catches the mini-explosion in his hand. He speaks again, "I understand your anger, now you need to understand our position. We're a neutral party, we exist only to protect magic. To that end, your son has become - a problem." Piper, miffed, goes to gesture again, but Phoebe stops her, not entirely sure who they're dealing with. Cleaner 1 goes on, "However, based on your past success in covering up your own magic, we've decided to give you a chance…" Cleaner 2: "ONE chance only…" Cleaner 1: "To take care of the problem yourselves, before it gets out of hand." Paige: "And if we can't?" Cleaner 1: "Then we'll have to take care of it for you." Piper, challenging them, "You can't make us forget everything…" Cleaner 1, unfazed, "Can't we? There may be some distant echoes that remain - maybe a sense of déjà vu here and there, but like most people, you'll just pass it off as absentmindedness and move on." Piper: "We're not like most people." Cleaner 1: "Won't matter. Clean it up…" Cleaner 2: "Or we will." With sparkling lights, they vanish, leaving the girls to absorb their warning. Paige: "Well, at least we know who's behind it now - too bad we won't remember." Phoebe: "But we've got the upper hand this time, don't we? We know we're re-living this day, but they obviously don't." Paige: "So? It doesn't help us unless we can figure out how to eliminate Wyatt's dragon." Piper suddenly takes off for the stairs. Phoebe calls to her, and she tells Phoebe to go to the Book and work on the dragon but not to take her eyes off Wyatt. Paige asks where she's going. Piper: "To call a Higher Power." She disappears up the steps.
INT. Manor - Piper's Bedroom - Day (Tuesday Afternoon)
Piper enters with a purpose, slamming the door behind her, and calls, "Leo! Leo, can you hear me? Please, I know I asked you to stay away, but I need you - Wyatt's in trouble…" He orbs in, concerned, "What do you mean, what's wrong?" Piper tells him she doesn't have time to explain and asks him how to stop the Cleaners. Leo: "The Cleaners? Are they after him?" Piper admits it. Leo: "What? What the hell happened?" Piper tells him their son conjured a dragon. Leo: "He did what?? Piper, how could you let that happen?" Piper: "Oh, how could I let that happen? You take off and I'm suddenly responsible for every little thing that happens to him?" Leo tells her this isn't a little thing. Piper; "Yeah, well, where the hell were you, huh? How come you weren't watching his every move from your lofty perch Up There, huh? HUH??" Leo tells her that's not what he meant. Piper: "Well, then don't say it, okay? Because I'm already beating myself up enough about this, and I don't need you beating me up, too." Leo says he's sorry and admits that he's scared. They talk for a few more moments, finally Leo admits there's no way to fight the Cleaners. Piper says she can't do it, she can't lose Wyatt, too. Leo tells her she wasn't put in this position to lose him, he knows there's a way, she just has to find it. Piper: "But…how?" Leo says he doesn't know, but assures her that if anyone can do it, she can and that maybe it's not a magical solution, so much as a maternal one. Piper looks into his eyes, sees something there…they hold the look for a beat.
INT. Manor - Attic - Day (Tuesday Afternoon)
Paige is at the Book while Phoebe's working on a potion. Piper enters, pausing at Wyatt's bassinet. Phoebe, unable to sense her inner feelings, shares a look with Paige then wonders, "Are you okay?" Piper, "I don't know. Ask me again when this is all over." Paige, knowing, asks if Leo was able to help. Piper looks up, surprised they knew, "I'm not sure yet…anything on the dragon?" Paige tells her they must have pre-dated the Book, and they only thing they know is that they need a piece of it to make a vanquishing potion for it. Phoebe: "And, since we don't know all the other ingredients, we just decided to make the most powerful potion we could." She screams and drops what she was doing, grabbing her head in pain. Piper's turn to ask, "Are you okay?" Phoebe: "Yeah, but someone's not. Actually, a lot of people aren't. So much fear out there, and pain…" Piper; "Out where? Are you saying you can sense things from far away now?" Phoebe, recovering, "I don't know, but I can sure sense this - I've never felt so much fear in my life." Paige, wondering, "The dragon??" Piper nods, "Grab the potion." She turns her attention to the bassinet, "Wyatt, sweetie, if you can understand me, I need you to take us to the dragon again, okay? Please, it's important." Wyatt giggles.
EXT. Street - Night (Tuesday)
The sisters and Wyatt orb in on the street, people are running past them, too frightened to react to the orbs. We see burned out cars, some upside down, others on fire. Phoebe: "It looks like a war zone." Off Wyatt's cooing, they all look towards a nest, made up of myriad wreckage - wood, metal, and rock - the dragon's tail hangs out of it. Paige: "Uh-oh, I think it's made a nest. Let's just hope it's not laying any eggs." Piper asks if Paige thinks she can orb one of it's scales off so they can mix the potion. Paige says she can try…and does. But it's no use. In reaction, the tail whips around and retracts into the nest, sending debris falling down as a horrible roar emanates from inside. Paige: "Whoops, I think I just woke it up." Phoebe: "No, I think you just pissed it off!" And just as she finishes saying it, the dragon rises up and lets out another terrifying roar. Paige: "If you're sensing fear now, that would be mine - let's get out of here!" Piper notices Wyatt giggling and gets an idea, "No, wait!" Paige: "Wait? Wait for what?" Piper, "Wyatt…" She hands him to Phoebe, "I don't have time to explain, just make sure he sees me!" She runs off leaving a frantic Phoebe calling out to her, asking her what she's doing. Piper ignores her and runs into the middle of the street and calls out the dragon. "Come on you fire breathing lizard, what are you waiting for? Come and get me!" The dragon spreads its wings and flies into the air, banks around and starts coming in for the attack. Paige, desperate: "Piper, are you nuts?" Piper: "Stay back!" Paige, to Phoebe, "We have to stop her!" Phoebe looks down at Wyatt, noticing he's not laughing anymore, and then it hits her, "No, I think I know what she's doing." Piper: "Come on Wyatt, don't let Mommy down." The dragon closes in, breathing fire. Wyatt begins to cry. Piper closes her eyes, bracing herself just in case, but just before the dragon reaches her, it explodes in a massive vanquish, knocking her on her butt. Paige and Phoebe rush to her side, Piper tells them she's okay, gets up, and grabs Wyatt. "That's my little buddy, I knew you could do it!" Paige: "Okay, confused, what just happened?" Phoebe: "The greatest power there is, the mother and child bond - especially when the child is Wyatt." Paige: "Wait, you mean HE vanquished the dragon?" She turns to Piper, "And you knew he would?" Piper: "I knew he wouldn't want anything to happen to me." Paige: "Well, that's one problem solved. Now, how are we going to clean up this mess?" Phoebe tells her they'll figure something out. We hear the voice again, "No, actually, you won't." The girls spin around to find the Cleaners are back. Piper tries talking to them, "Wait, we did what you asked - we took care of the dragon." Cleaner 1: "But not the exposure risk." Cleaner 2: "The boy." He holds out his hand to receive Wyatt, but Paige, "Oh no you don't!" With that, she orbs all 4 of them out.
INT. Manor - Main Hall - Night
Paige: We don't have much time, they'll follow us…" Phoebe: "How are we going to stop them?" Piper holds Wyatt close, just like in the Teaser. But this time, Piper speaks with a strength we didn't see the last time, "We'll think of something. We're not letting them take him." Sparkling lights begin to form, Paige, "Uh, guys? Incoming!" Out of the lights, the Cleaners materialize. Piper: "No, I won't lose him again!" Cleaner 1 gestures as Cleaner 2 simultaneously holds out his hands. They have Wyatt once again. Piper screams…"NO!!!"…she starts to gesture, but Cleaner 1 waves his hand, sending all 3 of them sprawling back onto the floor. Cleaner 1: "Don't worry, you won't remember any of this anyway." With that, he waves his hand and the room is filled with the same light we saw before as the manor once again reverts to it's pre-Wyatt look. The light soon vanishes and with it, the Cleaners and Wyatt, too. A beat to make us wonder how the girls will react, then Piper: "Do you remember?" Phoebe: "Every bit." Paige: "Our spell protected us." Piper: "It didn't protect Wyatt…he's still gone."
END OF ACT III
ACT IV
INT. Manor - Attic - Night (Tuesday)
Piper's staring out the window while the rain continues. Phoebe's at the Book and Paige is scrying. "Nothing, I can't find The Cleaners anywhere." Phoebe: "Well, they have to exist somewhere, don't they?" Paige: Not necessarily, not on our plane, anyway. Or, even in our time, for that matter. Maybe we should try summoning them." Phoebe asks what they'd do then, since Piper's power was useless on them. Paige, out of ideas, suggest maybe Piper should call for Leo again. Piper admits to her that he can't help anymore than he already has. Paige asks how he did it before. And Piper tells her, "By reminding me I could do this…You know, come to think of it, maybe we've been going about this all wrong. Maybe instead of trying to stop The Cleaners, we should be trying to get them to stop us - like all the time." Phoebe: "You lost me." Piper: "If someone exposes magic, they have no choice but to clean it up, right? That's their job." Paige: "Yeah, so?" Piper: "So, let's expose OUR magic, flush them out, force them to deal with us." Phoebe: "Yeah, fine, except, if we do that, what's to stop them from erasing us?" Piper: "They wouldn't dare. They want something to clean? Let's give it to 'em!"
INT. News Studio - Night (Tuesday)
In the middle of a live newscast, a weatherman is giving the latest, suddenly, Phoebe and Paige orb in beside him. "Woah, what the hell…?" Phoebe: "Hi, how's it going?" Paige waves to the camera and Phoebe grabs the weatherman under his arms. Phoebe: "Let's get a sky-cam view on this one, shall we, Wayne?" Then, Phoebe levitates, pulling Wayne into the air with her as he cries out for help. The camera shakily follows them up and over the backdrop where Phoebe hovers behind, holding Wayne in full view. Then, we see, from another camera, Kinesha (the newscaster from earlier) as she struggles to maintain control of the broadcast, "Uh, I'm not exactly sure what's happening here…" Paige steps in next to her, "It's called magic, Kinesha. Well, witchcraft, specifically." Kinesha is too stunned to speak, especially with Paige's next comment. "Hey, love your….JACKET!" Kinesha's jacket…and shirt…orb off and appear in Paige's hands. She covers herself as a screaming Wayne literally drops to the floor behind the desk. Followed by Phoebe, who lands on top of the desk and turns to the camera, "Want to see more magic? Let's switch to the Golden Gate Bridge Traffic Cam - Take it away, Piper!" We see the monitor as it switches to the Golden Gate, a beat…then we see Piper, all business, as she steps into the shot overlooking the bridge. She holds her hands out dramatically and chants, "Let the object of objection become but a dream as I cause the seen to be unseen." As she finishes, we see the bridge being to disappear from the tall towers downward until it's completely gone. Piper: "You might wanna take an alternate route to work in the morning."
INT. Manor - Attic - Night (Tuesday)
The girls orb in, Paige, "Nicely done, you know, you really gotta get out more." Piper: "Yeah, Pheebs, time to come out of the basement." Phoebe tells them that maybe they're right. Then, once again, we hear a voice, "What do you think you're doing?" All eyes turn to reveal the Cleaners. Cleaner 1 continues: " Are you out of your minds?" Piper: "Ah, caught our little magic act, did you?" Cleaner 2: "How is it you still have your memory?" Phoebe: "I think you'll find we still have a lot of little surprises left in us." Paige' And I'd suggest you return our nephew, unless you want to see a few more." Cleaner 1: "This is pointless, whatever you do, we'll simply erase." Cleaner 2: "Or, we'll erase you." Piper calls their bluff, "You can't, not if you're truly neutral. We're the Charmed Ones - if you erase us, you'll tip the balance of power from Good to Evil and that's hardly being neutral now, is it?" The Cleaners exchange a look, knowing she's right. Piper continues, "Give me my son back, or I swear the only thing you'll be doing for the next fifty years is cleaning up after us!" Cleaner 1: "If we do return him, how do you know you'll be able to control him?" Piper: "I'm his mother, if anybody can, I can." With a wave of his hand, everything is back in place, including Wyatt. Cleaner 1: "Everything is as it was, we've erased all evidence of your son's magic. We'll leave him in your care…" Cleaner 2: "For now." Before they leave, Phoebe sidles up next to them, "Oh, hey, guys, listen before you go, do you think maybe you could do me a teensy favor and erase that little riot I cause at my office? Wouldn't want to lose my job, you know - might have trouble focusing on demon fighting and upset that whole balance thing." Their eyes meet and 1 waves his hand, "It's done." He turns to Piper, "Good luck, you're going to need it." With that, they vanish in their sparkling light, leaving the sisters to share a relieved look. They go to Wyatt, surrounding him with hugs and kisses. Piper: "Easy, easy, you're suffocating him." Phoebe: "I don't care, he's back - and so are we." Paige: "Coffee stains and all." Phoebe: "Speaking of that, what are you gonna do about your job? You gonna keep it?" Paige: "Yeah, I am - but just long enough to take advantage of knowing what happens next."
INT. Mr. Stewick's Office - Day (Wednesday Morning)
We see a pair of shoes, tapping nervously, then we see that they belong to Flo. She's in the middle of her meeting with Stewick. Flo: "Exactly what are you saying?" Mr. Stewick: "I'm saying that, if you don't…make it worth my while, I might find your performance here…lacking." Flo: "Mr. Stewick, please. I need this job." Mr. Stewick: "I know you do, Flo, and that's why I'm giving you an opportunity to keep it, if you catch my meaning." The change in Flo couldn't be more dramatic. She becomes seductive, "Absolutely, I like a man who knows what he wants and isn't afraid to get it. Now, are you afraid to come get it?" Mr. Stewick's shocked, "You mean, you want to…here?" Flo nods and beckons him towards her with an outstretched finger, he doesn't have to be told twice. He stammers into the intercom, "Um…hold all my calls!" As she moves in for the kiss, "Flowerpot!" The flowerpot orbs out and back in above Stewick before it falls, knocking him to the floor. Then, "Flo" morphs into Paige. She opens the office door to reveal the real Flo standing outside, waiting. "Paige? I thought you were…what happened?" Paige, talking loudly for Mr. Stewick's benefit, "Well, I just overheard Mr. Stewick threatening you. Boy, he'll be lucky if you don't sue him!" She looks at Flo and whispers, "Trust me, just go with it." Stewick moans as Flo, knowing Paige did something, offers, "Thanks, Paige, for whatever you just did for me in there." Paige: "Hey, there's a reason I got this job, and I think that was it." She exits leaving Flo to watch her go.
INT. Manor - Conservatory - Day (Wednesday Morning)
Music plays over Piper, holding a sleeping Wyatt in her arms, gently rocking him. And as we draw closer, we see that she's smiling…not wanting to put him down. Holding for a beat on the wordless moment between mother and son.
