Burn Notice is a TV show in the USA Network about a CIA agent who has been "burned", meaning that he was effectively banished from the CIA, living in Miami while trying to clear his name while helping people at the same time.

It is a pretty good show for those that like action TV series and for the geek crowd it also has fan favorite Bruce Campbell in from the "Evil Dead" movies.

For those that do watch the show.... did Fiona lose her Irish accent somewhere along the way?

I've never watched Burn Notice but it gets rave reviews from all the critics over here, I was a HUGE fan of 24 is Burn Notice in any way similar?

I've only watched it once or twice, but I'm not really into it.

I'm the opposite in that I never got into 24. Burn Notice is a little bit different than 24 in that it has more humor to it. Most of the story lines are pretty serious but there are usually some humorous lines in each episode. With Bruce "Evil Dead" Campbell in there it'd be hard not to. With Burn Notice the general format is that each episode has a self-contained story that starts & ends within the episode while also having parts of a season wide bigger arc.

So where I'm going with this is that if you liked 24 because of the serious tone of the show then you might not like Burn Notice but if you like action shows that deal with spies with some bits of humor, like Covert Affairs, then you might like Burn Notice.
