XenForo FireBug Conflict with XenForo

    Lately it has been driving me nuts that when I have the current version of Firebug enabled on FireFox that I was having problems with certain actions in XenForo. For example, if I had Firebug enabled and tried to delete a thread then I would get the activity indicator in the upper-right of the browser but then it would just hang there, not doing anything further no matter how long browser window was left there. :eek:

    After some trial & error I was able to reproduce the problem! That is always a good sign if a problem can be reproduced.

    To get straight to the answer, if the Firebug "Script Panel" was disabled then I would have problems but when I enabled the panel then everything was working fine. I can't explain it but I was able to consistently reproduce the results.

    So, if you're running Firebug and are having problems while working on a XenForo powered site, try enabling the Script Panel to see if you better results.
