Anyone watch the game of thrones?

There's a little nudity in the episodes - just a little warning to you all.

But, the story-line is great and if you watch episode 1, to 10 ( that's all there is so far ) , you'll be addicted.

Edited : @Kevin - Can you change the title "HBP" to "HBO"? Thanks! :)

oh, I love it. Amazing story and very well made. Couldn't be better.

Does anyone knows if they will get another season?
Haven't seen anything about the ratings so I don't if it has done well or not.

Personally I think the books got a bit slower later on but I don't think that should be a problem for the show so I really hope we will get to see the rest of the story. :)

No, I don't have HBO, or any premium pay channels, at the house. Between DirecTV, Verizon Wireless, and Verizon Online my monthly 'not really needed' bills are already too high.

    No problem. (y)

So compulsive, I have a habit of recording series to my Sky HD box and watching them over a few days or week. This was so enjoyable that we watched the whole lot over two nights. There are chilling and mesmeric performances from the leads and a growing sense of doom with each warning that 'winter is coming'. Being HBO there's the compulsory sex and swearing. The scenes in the North were wonderfully dark - the wall is amazing. Lots of visual feasts here - and shades of Star Trek obsessiveness with the invented language of the horse tribes :p

Season 2's first episode airs on the 4th of November 2011. Can't wait!

@Kevin - I think you can watch it online if you want, ;) I can find the link, but a Google Search should be enough.

    Bad news guys...

I may have made a mistake with the dates. I think the next air date for the show is on the 4th of November 2011 for the Internet ( watching online ) , while the next air date for the show on HBO is on the 15th of April 2012, according to this.

I'm not seeing anything on there about a November 2011 date.

... but at least this way, if S1 is made available on DVD then I can catch up before S2 starts in April. :D

Just found out the other day that the some of the scenes from Winterfell were filmed about 15 miles along the road from where I live at Doune Castle

Congratulations to Peter Dinklage who won an Emmy for his work Game of Thrones!
That looks like it'd be a cool spot to check out with a camera. There are not too many place like that in the US.

I live in Stirling, we have friends that live in California and they come over to visit every year, they keep telling us they want to transport our castle and scenery back to California because it is breathtaking and there is nothing like that in the States. We tend to take it for granted though.

Anyway, back on topic. The Emmy for Peter Dinklage is well deserved, he is superb as Tyrion. Can't wait until this resurfaces in April 2012 :)

It just reminded me about a castle in the movie "Dragon Hunters", though it was animated one but still the castle where the little girl lives, reminds me about this place :)

With season 2 in production just now, rumour has it that HBO has signed up another two seasons that will be filmed back-to-back and will comprise of the A Storm of Swords book, spanning over two seasons.
