Not bad for a start at all. It's got a simple design to it, manipulated the photo of the explosion a little bit, added some brushing and text. It's good that you aren't trying to over do it on it which would make it confusing and messy. I'm not sure what program you used for it so I can't give too much advice yet until I know

Not bad, although the text should have a little effects to it.

Curve the explosion a bit, then make a hue on it, and turn it a little bit more red, then edit the text a bit, make a shadow or glow. Else try to put a gradient or texture on it.

Also try to make beneeth the explosion a little bit brighter.

Pretty good if it's your first attempt. Try adding some effects to the text. It looks way too simple at the moment imho.
