I'm in the NE USA, about 30 miles west of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. Normally at this time of the year we are enjoying the nice fall weather with the tree leaves changing colors, cooler temperatures, and a slight breeze. The perfect weather for the Halloween & Thanksgiving holidays. This weekend, however, they are calling for a possible wet snow fall of up to 6" in some areas! What the heck!? Snow for Thanksgiving, at the end of November, is not that totally uncommon but snow for Halloween? I think this is going to be a long winter. I can't help but think about some of the 'global warming' theories that state, unlike what most people would think of with the term 'warming', that we could be facing longer & colder winters.
