    Definitely Scotland.

This is quite spooky but the picture of the town looks like where I live in Stirling. I think it is looking in the opposite direction from the Wallace Monument towards one of the small villages.

Some scenery looking out from the same Monument - https://www.google.co.uk/search?q=view from wallace monument&hl=en&safe=off&prmd=imvns&source=lnms&tbm=isch&ei=aMaET8-DAdGT0QWm5cm-Bw&sa=X&oi=mode_link&ct=mode&cd=2&ved=0CBkQ_AUoAQ&biw=1920&bih=950

Edit: think the town one it is taken from here - http://www.panoramicearth.com/4461/Stirling/View_from_National_Wallace_Monument - but from the other side of the Monument

A beautiful looking area! I'm in a rural area but waterfalls like that aren't common in the US.

... and, speaking of the waterfall, anybody else spot The Ring in the lower right of the pic?

I don't recognise the waterfall or the other water pictures (they might not be Scotland).

I live in a lovely area but tend to take the scenery and countryside for granted sometimes. I love taking the dogs for big, long walks up the hills in the summer but we don't get the weather that such scenery deserves :(
